Biography

Dr. Alcocer is a new Californian transplant  who  has been a great addition to the Friend Family Health Center Team. She moved to Chicago in 2009 and is happy to call Chicago her home. Before arriving, she worked in Northern California as a general pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist at both county clinics and a private clinic. She was also the Pediatric Medical Director for the Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention – a center that manages all cases of pediatric neglect, physical and sexual abuse for out county. She brings knowledge and interest in all aspects of general pediatrics, hospital medicine, and child abuse and neglect.
